Public Relations is about promoting positive images of individuals or organisations in order to (positively!) influence public opinion.

Studying in this area involves learning how to write press releases and to create and disseminate other persuasive promotional material.

This usually includes all forms of media, including social media – to portray whoever you are representing in a positive light.
